Smith of Derby Limited

Smith of Derby had entrusted their IT systems to a managed service provider. However, they were soon firefighting one system failure after another. The business felt out of control and didn’t know where to turn.  We were engaged to help restore calm to the business and help them regain control of their runaway systems.

Peter Barry Finance Director commented “As an innovator in the clock industry it is vital that we constantly move forward as technology progresses and it is key for us to be at the forefront of this progression in terms of our manufacturing processes and procedures.”

Marlborough Investment Management

Operating within the highly regulated financial services industry, the business is under constant scrutiny both by its customers and regulatory bodies such as the FCA.  Should they suffer an IT outage or a cybersecurity incident, they risk losing their hard-earned reputation, customer confidence and could face heavy penalties from their industry regulators.

Kim Cooling Compliance Officer commented “There has been a significant improvement in the stability and sturdiness of our network and associated applications since. This has given us assurance both in terms of network security and our compliance with our regulatory obligations.”

Aerocom (UK) Limited

We recently won a large contract for a hospital in Leeds and as part of the agreement, the only way we could support them remotely was to access our dedicated PC via the NHS N3 connection.  We didn’t know what we needed for N3 connectivity but as a business we needed to act.

Peter came in and listened to the challenges we were facing and took them away from us and managed it on our behalf.  The whole process took a few weeks with several challenges along the way but Peter overcame them in a calm and pragmatic way to get us into the position where we had everything in place and we got the connectivity we needed.
